Tuula was born and raised in Finland. She is a Physical Therapist and graduated from Helsinki Health College in 1991. She also has a degree in Physical Education from Pajulahti Sports College in 1997. Tuula has over 10 years of experience in rehabilitation of numerous orthopedic and neurological diagnosis and diseases.
Furthermore, Tuula has over than 20 years of experience in teaching and instructing Physical Fitness. She started teaching Pilates after getting certified in 2004.

Tuula is very passionate about Pilates. She believes that Pilates is an incredible movement therapy and alternative treatment for many musculoskeletal problems together with other therapeutic exercise techniques. She has been helping people with chronic back pain, spondylolisthesis, osteoarthritis, scoliosis, SI-joint instability, lumbar spine instability, osteoporosis, sciatica, knee replacement, knee&hip pain, shoulder pain, achilles tendonitis, IT-band syndrome, piriformis syndrome, herniated disc, bulging disc, degenerative disc disease and Fibromyalgia. Her programs are excellent choice after Physcial Therapy, Chiropractor care and post-rehab after orthopedic surgery.

With a thorough PT background Tuula is well trained and highly educated in Anatomy, Physiology, Musculoskeletal Biomechanics and Exercise Intervention. This allows her to appropriately adapt Pilates exercises safely and efficiently based on each client’s individual needs and condition, which brings optimum benefits to her clients.


Tuula brings her many years of hands-on experience and high quality education into your Pilates private sessions. She offers friendly, professional and very personal service to you with her lovely Finnish accent!
